Speaking of idiots, Melanie Phillips - the Daily Mail's most successful idiot appeaser - has been waffling on inanely about God. That intellectual rapier, Ophelia, nails the problem rather quickly. Dominic Lawson is wrong. Religion is about truth, and homeopathy is just about being a good person. Why? Well, because I say so. And since we aren't bothered with that 'truth' thing, I can just say it and it is then so. 2007-08-12T14:55:48ZUntitled entry permalink

My philosophical interests are in Victorian-era German philosophy, Kierkegaard, Robert Nozick, hermeneutics and current approaches to the demarcation problem in the philosophy of science. Musically, I like jazz fusion, soul and P-Funk. My musical nirvana would be a mixture of Beethoven, Miles Davis and George Clinton topped with a side-serving of Erykah, Jill and Angie.
