I'm going to write a little more about this in the morning, but David Cameron's blog has yet to get the whole RSS thing. 2006-10-02T00:51:59Z
Nick Cohen: "Europeans enjoy their fantasy of the American dystopia too much to notice what is in front of their noses. The Republicans used religious passions to push largely working-class American Christians to vote for Bush, then gave them next to nothing when he was in the White House. Perhaps one day their brains, honed by millions years of evolution, will work out that they have been taken for fools." 2006-10-02T00:09:33Z
Danish prime minister, Anders Rasmussen: "My conclusion is that freedom of speech is the most valuable right of liberty. We must defend it to the very last. Across the world, there is respect that we didn't give in to the pressure of fanatical Muslim groups. In many places, the story has put Denmark on the map and, except for a few countries, we have seen almost exclusively positive reactions." A hearty fuck yeah or - is it - knep ja! If only Britain had a PM who used the word 'liberty' like he meant it. 2006-10-01T23:55:59Z
I've just been discussing the Wii with a friend. Apparently, they are putting wi-fi only on to the Wii. There are some pretty pictures that got leaked (via digg). This is actually extremely sensible. Wifi is about the best way to connect devices to a TV. I mean, how exactly am I supposed to wire up my living room? What a pain. To not put wifi in a next-gen console would be the height of utter insanity. 2006-10-01T19:20:19Z
If you want to see PodShow's funding announcement, here it is. The bits which Podshow has which are good: the music network, the Sirius linkup. The bits which are thoroughtly "meh": the BT partnership and the website. I will be building Podshow compatibility in to the site I'm working on though. 2006-10-01T09:41:21Z
