There's only one thing that comes to mind when I read this - a storm looms over silly street. Just imagine the Pope and Osama bin Laden arguing. It'd be like watching two high-security mental patients going at it. 2006-09-17T01:35:55Z
Perhaps someone who is more JavaScript/DOM inclined should write a Greasemonkey script that would ask you for confirmation in case you accidentally click on an Amazon Unbox 1-click link. You know what would be good though? If you bought the DVD, while you wait for the delivery, you could watch a streaming version online - it would make it a great impulse buying tool. It would be nice, though, if we could have a little bit of translation - "it's against our policy" really means "fuck you, we don't care". 2006-09-17T00:34:42Z
Reason Magazine have a great interview Kirby Dick who has produced a documentary on the failings of the MPAA's rating system. I've said nasty stuff about alternative rating systems, but however silly the alternatives are, the MPAA's rating system really sucks. As does the BBFC - our version of the MPAA rating system. 2006-09-16T19:23:53Z
I'm just on the phone to AppleCare (again). The connector for my MagSafe power adapter is falling apart after only a few months of not-at-all-excessive use. Apple really needs to spend more on QA and testing - the hardware they've sent out to people this year has been shockingly sub-par. 2006-09-16T14:32:55Z
