Want another stunning story? Øystein Andersen has a stunning article on Dagbladet.no (in Norwegian) about a group of Christian parents in Norway who believe - on the basis of the Old Testament - that computers are forbidden. dukesnorre has posted an English translation over on LiveJournal. 2006-08-15T20:19:49ZUntitled entry permalink

Oh my. Ruth Kelly's attacker has been sentenced to a community punishment order and an ASBO for five years. He sounds cuckoo, but anyone who throws eggs at politicians has to be a good thing. 2006-08-15T18:28:59ZUntitled entry permalink

Some more sanity statistics. Britain's pretty high up. America, alas, is not. 2006-08-15T18:27:29ZUntitled entry permalink

Someone found my site in the last few hours by searching for "if you shoot a cop". Buddy - if you've shot a cop, what you need to do is run away, as quickly as possible. Preferably, cross the border in to a country which your country hasn't got any kind of international agreements with. Find yourself a nice shack out in the countryside, miles from anywhere, arm yourself up and prepare for a "Ruby Ridge" type experience. 2006-08-15T07:38:48ZUntitled entry permalink

I am a , an , like to code in and noodle about with and the . I also have a BA in philosophy from London, and am studying for an MA. My philosophical interests are in Victorian-era German philosophy, Kierkegaard, Robert Nozick, hermeneutics and current approaches to the demarcation problem in the philosophy of science. Musically, I like jazz fusion, soul and P-Funk. My musical nirvana would be a mixture of Beethoven, Miles Davis and George Clinton topped with a side-serving of Erykah, Jill and Angie.

I also write for the Citizendium, an online encyclopedia project. If you know about stuff, you should join in.
