Not so stupid after all 2006-07-08T08:20:45ZTitled entry permalink

My results have just arrived for my second year. One first, one high 2:2 and the rest are high 2:1s. My Kierkegaard course, which has tossed me around like crazy with grumpy tutors and unavailable books earned me a high 2:1 (three percent off a first) - totally out-of-the-blue. I would have been happy with scraping a pass in that course. Perhaps divine powers (or the lecturer) intervened and saved the day.

This morning, I had honey on my toast. It's creamy and comfortable, which is how I'm feeling. Normally I have the sharp and yeasty Marmite on my toast.

I'm in good stead - if the Web 2.0 bubble bursts before I can start a company, build it up and cash out, I've at least got the academic background to become a lawyer or something. Just in case the market for creative geeks with OPML addictions goes away or I decide that I really like British weather or whatnot.

I am a , an , like to code in and noodle about with and the . I also have a BA in philosophy from London, and am in preparation for an MA. My philosophical interests are in Victorian-era German philosophy, Kierkegaard, Robert Nozick, hermeneutics and current approaches to the demarcation problem in the philosophy of science. Musically, I like jazz fusion, soul and P-Funk. My musical nirvana would be a mixture of Beethoven, Miles Davis and George Clinton topped with a side-serving of Erykah, Jill and Angie.
