The ".xxx" debacle could finally be at a close, the BBC are reporting. Oh, thank Buddha for that. The .xxx domain was one of the worst ideas to have hit the 'net, and it's taken nearly a decade to finally get rid of it. It would have been extremely "web-centric" - there are more than enough differing protocols and uses for the net, so to shoehorn the web in to the porn industry blueprint would be very limiting, and also very stupid. My philosophical interests are in Victorian-era German philosophy, Kierkegaard, Robert Nozick, hermeneutics and current approaches to the demarcation problem in the philosophy of science. Musically, I like jazz fusion, soul and P-Funk. My musical nirvana would be a mixture of Beethoven, Miles Davis and George Clinton topped with a side-serving of Erykah, Jill and Angie.
