Get Those Feeds Out There 2006-05-07T09:04:52ZTitled entry permalink

I've written a little script thatis designed to help you manage OPML subscription lists. I've been meaning to do this for a while, but it has an extremely valuable use now that Share Your OPML is about to go live.

If you want to see the script, open up your Editor and load this file up.

This hack only recreates an idea that Bloglines has had for a long time, and every system should have. I'm using it to manage my feeds from newsRiver and iTunes. The latter I intend to write an AppleScript / cron function to automate the management of feeds.

The OPML Editor serves as the publishing system for this script. If you want an easy way of managing your feed lists, this is it.

The result? Automatically updated feed lists for people to graze or share.

I am a , an , like to code in and noodle about with and the . I also have a BA in philosophy from London, and am studying for an MA. My philosophical interests are in Victorian-era German philosophy, Kierkegaard, Robert Nozick, hermeneutics and current approaches to the demarcation problem in the philosophy of science. Musically, I like jazz fusion, soul and P-Funk. My musical nirvana would be a mixture of Beethoven, Miles Davis and George Clinton topped with a side-serving of Erykah, Jill and Angie.

I also write for the Citizendium, an online encyclopedia project. If you know about stuff, you should join in.
