Yes, we're doing that. Or at least Dan is (I think). There are plans for a PHP version of the OPML Community Server. Personally, a system to simply render them locally and upload the files would do me. 2006-03-10T18:42:56ZUntitled entry permalink

Bullshit non-science "Intelligent Design" and it's chronically moronic older brother, Creationism, are to be examined in the new GCSE standard. If this isn't the cue to pull your kids out of school and start teaching them about reality yourselves rather than letting an underqualified dimwit teach them about pixies and fairy dust, I don't know what is. Wake up, Britannia, before someone F's you in the A for proper. 2006-03-10T14:19:32ZUntitled entry permalink

Surely the answer for this debacle is to simply have an option in the Creative Commons licencing agreement to enter a dollar amount. Then the contract says "If you decide to licence this in a manner that goes outside of the boundaries of the CC licence, you agree to pay the IP owner $x". Set it as high as you want, and if they use it, bill them for $x. If we don't set the damages, the courts will, and as the Adam Curry case demonstrates, they'll fuck it up (like all government does). 2006-03-10T13:46:47ZUntitled entry permalink

FeedYes is a great service, but it would be even better if it could log in to intranets. 2006-03-10T12:33:07ZUntitled entry permalink

I am a , an , like to code in and noodle about with and the . I also have a BA in philosophy from London, and am studying for an MA. My philosophical interests are in Victorian-era German philosophy, Kierkegaard, Robert Nozick, hermeneutics and current approaches to the demarcation problem in the philosophy of science. Musically, I like jazz fusion, soul and P-Funk. My musical nirvana would be a mixture of Beethoven, Miles Davis and George Clinton topped with a side-serving of Erykah, Jill and Angie.

I also write for the Citizendium, an online encyclopedia project. If you know about stuff, you should join in.
