Dembski's speech (and the Q&A) are online. Better download this in case my trip to the dentist isn't painful enough. 2006-01-25T23:58:13ZUntitled entry permalink

The new header graphic is of Dungeness. It's a beautiful nuclear wasteland on the Kent coast. Art-cliche? Yeah, perhaps. But the pictures got some good memories attached. 2006-01-25T23:38:24ZUntitled entry permalink

Free access to the Oxford English Dictionary. I've got institutional access through the university, but if you haven't, you can use this until the 13 February (my b-day!). If you are in Britain, and you are considering getting a subscription to the OED online, it's sometimes cheaper to join a university library as an outside reader than it is to pay the OUP, plus you'll get access to the library and other online resources. If you can't get access to the free version, try Dave Proxy. 2006-01-25T13:57:40ZUntitled entry permalink

I am a , an , like to code in and noodle about with and the . I also have a BA in philosophy from London, and am studying for an MA. My philosophical interests are in Victorian-era German philosophy, Kierkegaard, Robert Nozick, hermeneutics and current approaches to the demarcation problem in the philosophy of science. Musically, I like jazz fusion, soul and P-Funk. My musical nirvana would be a mixture of Beethoven, Miles Davis and George Clinton topped with a side-serving of Erykah, Jill and Angie.

I also write for the Citizendium, an online encyclopedia project. If you know about stuff, you should join in.
